Can An Inguinal Hernia Cause Excessive Urination?

can an inguinal hernia cause excessive urination. I have just had a TURP procedure to decrease the size of my prostate and that was done to stop excessive urination but the hernia is "domed on the bladder," can this cause me to urinate more then normal?

Hi
It is unlikely that hernia is the cause of the frequency of urine, The bladder muscle changes in nature due to obstruction caused by prostate. This can cause excess urination which will take 3 to 6 months to settle to after TURP. If this does not settle by 6 months then get a test called urodynamics to find the cause.
