Can An Infant Be Given Ofloxacin And Ornidazole To Treat Black Stools?

Hi My baby is 3month 6days old and since last one week she is passing Black Motion
she used to take oral milk (Bottel) lactogen1 No, since birth as we adopted. She is very active now and responding good against our reaction kindly suggest what the reason behind ?
I taken suggestion from Dr he advise to give baby Ofloxacin & Ornidazole 5ML BD
and ZIGLIV PLUS Drops (Hepatoprotective & Hepatoregenerative) 3ML BD

Hi,i understand ur question.As ur baby is taking lactogen since birth,there is no problem with that but there are more chances of infection in small babies.it may cum throug your hand,the vessel in which u make milk,spoon,feedin bottles etc.bcoz of tha u will see these kind of changws in stool.so try to maintain hygiene as much as possible.boil the feeding bottle for 15 min daily bfore use.along with dat continue the same medicine prescribed by your docter.that is fine and it will cure the baby.any next query come back to me.wish your baby good health.
