Can Abdominal Pain, With Yellow Stools Be Related During Pregnancy?

Hi, I am 36 weeks pregnant and have been having upper right hand side abdominal pain. I went to my OBGYN today and he thought he may be a muscle tear. I forgot to tell him that I've been having yellow stool for about a week. Could the two be related? Please advise. Thank you.

HI.
The pain in the upper abdomen at 36 weeks pregnancy can be due to muscle sprain. Tear is not common at all unless there is severe sneeze or such activity.
The tear would give you severe pain, hematoma and swelling.
You may please get high resolution ultrasonography of the abdomen, and the abdominal wall to see what the problem is.
Yellow stool is in fact normal and it is possible that you are taking less of fat so that the bile is not utilized to give your stool the yellow color.
You can get the relevant blood, urine ans stool tests done.
Take full bed rest and full diet.
