Can Abdominal Incisional Hernia Cause Pain After A Bowel Movement?
Can a abdominal incisional hernia cause some pain after a bowel movement. Abdomen feels quite achy. Also feel quite drained of energy and just unwell. Usually have to lie down for 1/2 to one hour until symptoms pass. Thank you for your help.
Dear- thanks for using our service. An abdominal incisional hernia can cause pain after a bowel movement, mostly because of the pressure that you had to do to move the bowel. It is important to have a surgical evaluation of the hernia, make sure that it is not encapsulated to avoid complications as gangrene and acute abdomen. I hope that my advise has been helpful Dr.JC
