Hi, My wife aged 27 recently had shingles, we initially thought it is allergy but after 2-3 days I got to know it is something related to chicken pox since we can clearly notice small blisters. Immediately we consulted Doctor (General Physician) by looking at it Doctors clearly said its Shingles (It was below chest and also very small area at the back) and no need to worry they explained how can one gets shingles and all. Doctor gave Antiviral prescription tablets of 800mg with which within a week shingles disappeared. But the marks are still there even after two months. I have 2 questions here. 1. When will the marks disappear and is there any cream she has to apply because doctor didn t mention about it. 2. We are planning for a baby now, Doctor initially said we should not have direct sex for at least a month to two. Also many people also told since the body will be with heat during this period they asked not to plan now. So please let us know whether we can have direct sex now (its been 2 months now after it is being cured) Thanks in advance for your advice.
