Hallow Dear, Virginity test is to ascertain the intact hymen. Hymen is a fibromuscular septum present at the vaginal inlet. It has got a small aperture in it through which menstrual discharge flows. In good old days, when women were confined to home only, it used to get ruptured during first intercourse. However, now in this era, hymen can be ruptured due to many non-sexual acts like riding on a bicycle, scooter, horse riding, climbing on trees, athletics, for that matter any activity by sitting astride. Hence many a girls hymen is already severed before their first sexual experience. This could be the reason why she did not have any bleeding during her first sexual act with the boyfriend. Once ruptured hymen cannot be resealed. The only way to do that is to undergo plastic surgery which is a major and costly surgery.
