Can A Tens Machine Help Stimulate A Radial Nerve Palsy And Heal Faster?

i have radial nerve palsy. I fell asleep at computer with arm pressed against edge of desk. I am not in pain, although there has been a little cramping in my forearm and back of hand a few times. i can make a fist. in 2 weeks I am able to raise wrist a little. Will a TENS machine help stimulate nerve and help to heal faster? how long does healing usually take?

Dear Friend.
Hi , I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.
As such no medications help much in healing of nerve , as it will take it's own time.
You may take Methylcobalamine , it might help in healing.
TENS you can do , it can help in stimulation leading to better healing process.
These measures just add a little help , but there is no harm in doing them.
Also , you can get a Nerve Conduction Velocity test to be sure about the damage and extent of damage.
This is my personal opinion based on details available here. If you want to discuss your issues further, you may please ask us
