Can A Swallowed Fish Bone Be Constantly Stuck In The Throat Even After Many Days ?

A week ago I swallowed a fishbone, I immediately ate some bread and drank some pepsi. Since then I constantly feel as though the bone is still sitting at the top of my throat, sometimes I even feel as though I am about to gag or be sick from the feeling. I have had an xray and it didn't show anything. Every one has been telling me that I probably have a really bad scratch from it and not to worry. Should I be worried? could the bone still be there? Should I go to hospital?

Fish bone is very notorious one and this is not easy to handle, people are trying different methods to get it out or to get it down but that helps them some times, but these methods sometime pushes the fishbone still more inside (deep penetration), x- ray may not show any shadow for it, if the bone is over lapping with bony structure of our body, in my opinion this has to be examined with the endoscope, if detected then endoscope can get it out at the same time, take care and have nice day.
