Can A Previous Abortion Cause Any Problem In Ongoing Pregnancy?

Hai doctor,i am praveena now i am 6 months carrying lady.Dis is my second pregrency and first i have taken tablates for abortion.I have only one month gap for second pregnency.At the time of 3rd month my baby growth was good but according my 5th month scan report my baby growth was very low that is 250grms.So doctor suggested me for better caring on my pregnency.And now my baby heart beat and all good.doctor suggested me for further scanning on next month.kindly let me know if i get any problem becoz of my first abrtion?

Hello,
The medication you have taken for inducing the abortion in your first pregnancy does not have any effect on the present pregnancy. The fact that the fetal growth is not adequate is to cause concern, but, with appropriate nourishment and rest along with medication, everything should be fine. Regular follow up along with serial sonograms is mandatory to assess the progress of the pregnancy. Hope you find this information useful. Wish you good health.
