Can A Mass Around The Aorta Be Malignant?

My mother is waiting on results to a second MRI this one with contrast to help in diagnosis of a mass around the aorta she was just diagnosed with low grade bladder cancer. What would be the chance of malignancy and these two aren t related, because the bladder cancer is not staged?? I m just trying to wrap my mind around it. I m an RN for a cardiovascular surgeon and this is driving me crazy.
