Hello,
1) If your patient's diagnosis if end-stage liver disease or cirrhosis which cause liver failure, then they are irreversible process.
2) Bleeding in stool or vomiting in patient with liver failure indicate portal hypertension which further aggravate condition due to possibility of such bleeding episodes in future also.
3) Patient with liver failure require high carbohydrate diet (considering patient does not have diabetes), low fat diet, high protein diet (considering patient is passing normal-to-soft consistency stool 2-3 times/day), 1.5-2lit fluid/day.
4) Also patient need to continue some medications to prevent further episodes of bleeding and also to support liver function
