Can A Child Be Given Oflomac And Econorm For Semi-solid Stool And Abdominal Pain?

doctor my son have motion that to semi solid motion from last 6 days with stomach ache he is taking medicines also for the same but not releived.he is 11yrs old.he is taking oflomac, nizonide,econorm and racigyl from last 5 days but not a bit improvement.it will take time what doctors are saying.

Welcome to Hcm,
Semi solid stools are never a matter of concern in a child. As long as there are no loose stools or blood in stools, you needn't worry much about. I honestly feel he might not even need those many medicines which he is getting. However if a doctor had prescribed, there should be some genuine reason and so follow that as per instructions. Make sure he gets a good fibre rich diet, fruits, liquids and the will recover soon. Take care.
