Can A Bad Smell From Vagina Be Due To Infection?
Hello. Im a little embarassed to say this but I have a strange odor come from my vagina & it smells like a fart. I m scheduled for my annual check up in about a week but this smell is making me really nervous. I haven t been sexually active in about 5 months. Could it be an infection?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
As you have described, strange odor from the vagina may be an infection.
You should do a vaginal swab to determine the cause of it, but more common infection with vaginal smell is vaginal bacteriosis.
Until you will do your annual checkup make vaginal douches with povidone jod diluted with water, 2 times per day.
