Can A Baby Have Genetic Material From The Surrogate Mother?
this might seem like a strange question -please excuse me- but i am curious: as a gestational carrier of an implanted fetus, how much of the child is of the genetic parents and how much of the carrier? this was a debate that I witnessed and it reall ymade me wonder where I might find the definitive answers to that question. the words being used by one of the parties was That child has the (carrier s) blood in their veins ... thank you!
Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion implanted fetus does not contain any genetic material of surrogate mother but the blood supply during its growth might be of surrogate mother only.Because blood supply comes from the uterus of surrogate mother. But that will be till delivery only. After birth mother blood gets lysed and new born start synthesizing its own blood.
