Welcome to healthcare magic.
Smoking in mother can retard brain development and growth of fetus.Though not specific cause of deafness, it might result in various neurological problems like deafness , low IQ, behaviour and sleep problems etc.Other causes of congenital deafness more likely are maternal infection and genetic malformation syndromes.
