Can Zyrtec Cause Any Harm During Pregnancy?
I am 17 weeks pregnant. I have been suffering from a bad sinus infection I went to my doctor and he prescribed cetrine hydrochloride and amoxicillin tryhdate for a week. It did not stop the cold that kept draining from my head I went back and he prescribed zyrtec for 7 days and it still did not dry up the draining. The cold is very thick and even bitter to the taste sometimes. I am now scared that the drugs may have harmed my baby!!! I even had a rash from the first set of drugs and now I decided to stop taking the zyrtec because I am not seeing any changes. Could these drugs have harm the baby??? please help!!!

The teratogenicity of medicines occur in the first 3 months . So you have finished the most critical part. There is no evidence that Zyrtec harms the baby.
If it is not giving you any relief, you may stop Zyrtec which only gives symptomatic relief
