Hi.
Uricel is not effective in the treatment of gout.

Uricel is a liquid herbal remedy consisting of natural plant extracts like turmeric, celery seed, and cherry extract.

It is claimed to support healthy uric acid levels while reducing the painful swellings in the joint associated with gout. However, there is no such scientific evidence or clinical trials supporting this effect and hence it is not approved by FDA for the treatment of gout.

The increased uric acid level associated with gout can be effectively reduced by certain medications like Allopurinol or Sulfinpyrazone which are approved for this purpose.

Consult a physician for proper evaluation and the treatment.

You must avoid purine rich foods such as red meat, shrimps, beans, pulses, and alcohol or alcohol containing beverages as they tend to increase the serum uric acid levels.

Hope this answers your query.
