Can UTI And Albumin Values Cause Fever And Frequent Urination?

Good Morning Doctor.

I am 33 years old and recently i suffered with urine infection and had medication. but in the urine report it was mentioned as alubin +. i have taken this test just a week ago and whenever i am taking i nevet got alubin + last urine examination i have taken 3 months back it was nil.



Just want to know is it a cause of concern? my doctor saw the report and said u have uti pus cells are more because of which i got fever and frequent urination with burning sensation now the infection gone with the medication and i am perfect.



just want to know alubin+ has occured due to uti infection. I request your answer.

No dear, albumin in urine does not cause infection. But severe infection may lead to excretion of albumin from kidney.
Pus cells are definitely related to infection. As severity of infection increases, number of pus cells in urine also increase.
If u get urine routine freshly done, pus cells may normalize and albumin may become zero
