Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Combivent respimat contains ipratratropium bromide along with beta agonist albuterol which is indicated in COPD. But symbicort has corticosteroid budesonide and beta agonist formeterol which is usually prescribed for bronchial asthma as well as COPD. Both are different. So you should consult your doctor and make it sure whether change to symbicort suits you. Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further queries.
Thanks.
