Can Primolut N Be Taken To Delay Periods?

Hi My period was delayed by 45 days and next week need to go to temples by next Monday (not able to avoid or postpone) .i am not pregnant Can I now take primoult N /regestrone. Which is has low side effects . How many days can I take this medicine.It will delay my periods now .

Delay in periods by 45 days could be..
-In case of such delay in fertile sge ®ular periods otherwisse... possinility of pregnancy should be excluded to start with. Taking hormone for delaying periods witpregnancy would cause fetal malformations.
In case of absent pregnsncy ...normality of genital organs . Horminal status need to be confirmed begore you take hormones to delay periods.
Consult a gynecologist for expert advise after full examination.
