Can Omeprazole Be Taken With Cerazette?

does omeprazole take away the effects of cerazette? I started taking cerazette a month ago and after about 2 weeks of taking it I started my period, this hasn t completely stopped since... could it be that taking it together with my omeprazole takes away the effects of the cerazette? or is it safe to take them togheter?

Cerazette (Desogestrel) and Omeprazole have no drug interactions. They can safely be taken anytime.

Progestin only pills (Cerazette) also has its own side effects including breakthroughs bleeding, irregular periods and many more. But these side effects go away after 3months or more of taking the drug.
