Can Nimesulide Be Taken While Suffering From Fever?

Hi, I am suffering from typhoid (widal test positive with 1:160)as my doctor advice me to take - zenflox plus tablet, Crocin 650 & Nimesulide in case of high fever. My query is that is it OK to take Nimesulide in typhoid fever? And this treatment is sufficient to cure the ailment?

Typhoid fever is a bacterial infection caused by salmonella typhi. It is very resistant kind of fever.
Nimesulide is an anti – pyretic. It will bring down your fever but it will not kill bacteria. It is used for symptomatic treatment of elevated body temperature. It will cure typhoid fever.
Crocin is also anti – pyretic. Its role is similar to nimesulide.
For cure of typhoid fever, you need antibiotics which are effective against samlonella typhi.
Advice
1.     Hospitalization
2.     Complete bed rest
3.     Ceftriaxone 1 grams twice daily intravenously for 14 days
4.     Crocin 650 mg if fever occurs. You can also use nimesulide instead of Crocin for fever
5.     Drink plenty of fluids to keep hydrated
