Can Naproxen Lead To Positive Drug Test?

I took a drug test several months ago and it was reported that it returned positive for thc. First of all I do not use drugs and i was confused. I told a friend a couple of days ago my story and she ask me were i taking any prescribe medication. I informed her that the morning before taking the screen i took a Naproxen 500 and two advils for cramps. Could this be the reason i failed the test.

yes, naproxen can lead to positive drug test, as it does belong to group of illicit drug compounds. However, it does depend a lot on the kind and specificity of the screening test done.
