Can Mucinex And Robitussin Be Taken For Cold, Cough And Congestion?
My 19 y.o. daughter and I are both sick with typical cold symptoms...congestion, cough, low grade fever and slight coughs. She also takes 100 mg of Zoloft and I take Atacand plus for high blood pressure. Is Mucinex day or night or Robitussin night time for Multi Symptom Cold okay for us to take. Thank you for your help.

The mucinex is an expectorant that would help decrease the thickness of the secretions so they can be expelled easier.
There are no known interactions between mucinex and either zoloft or atacand plus.
In terms of robitussin night time multi symptom cold- it is possible that it may affect your blood pressure but this risk is small so you can consider using it if you wish.
