Can Mucinex D Cause Low EGFR?

Due to severe sinusitis, I have been taking Mucinex D since April 13, 2015. My late May physical s bloodwork showed a eGFR of 58. My doctor requested I have it taken again in a couple of months so I did (mid August). The eGFR was even lower at 52. I ve been researching Mucinex D because I think it cannot be coincidental. Can Mucienx D cause a low eGFR? I am stopping the medication today! By stopping the medication, will the eGFR raise back into normal range? I am 53 years of age and in wonderful physical shape. I eat right and exercise each day. My only health issue is osteopenia, which was discovered when I was 47 years old. Thanks!

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, it is not mentioned here that for what the GFR was done because the treatment that is being taken is least concern with this, you have not mentioned any clinical symptoms for which the test was done, else this is nothing to worry, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
