Can Meftal P Be Given To Child For Consistent Fever?

my son is 3years old 12 days back he had fever for 5 days we used tab novomox 250mg tid for 5 days now he is afgain running with temperature we are giving pcm 250 with the gap of 4hrs as prescribed by paeditrician. but the temperature is not coming down. can i use meftal p?

Yes, you can give Meftal-P in dosage of 4 to 6 mg/kg body weight if fever is above 102°F. Also do tepid sponging.

If fever continues to be on higher side, get him re-evaluated by pediatrician to see if there is any infection.
