Can Lisinopril Be Safely Stopped In View Of Diminishing Side Effects?

Taken LISINO-HCTZ 10-12.5 for 3 1/2 months. Have felt lethargic and the past month or so have severe flashing in my left eye and numbness in my left side ocassionally, the last week has been much more frequent so I have not taken for 30 hours and I feel like a new person with none of the side effects. I also take 300mg of Metropol daily. Can I safely stop the Lisinopril until I get into the doctor. My blood pressure two hours ago was 123/74.

Hello, thanks for posting a question on our platform.
I advise you consult your physician before stopping any prescription drugs to avoid issues with withdrawal symptoms. You should explain your symptoms so he/she can prescribe an alternative for you. Best regards
