Can Johnson & Johnson Powder Be Used For 20 Day Baby?

Can Johnson & Johnson powder be used for new born (20 Days old). For the past three days baby had developed small reddish pimples on both cheeks. Pediatrician advised to use T-BACT ointment. But on some sites its mentiond T-BACT should NOT be used for children below 2 years. What shall i do?

Mupirocin or T-bact has been shown to be safe in children over 2 months of age. If your doctor prescribed it at 20 days it is probably safe then as well. I think the second part of your question is about the safety of Johnson and Johnson powder. As long as it is baby powder it will be safe to use also.
