Can Ibuprofen Be Given For Pain Near Eyes In A Child?

My 8 year old daughter woke up complaining that the area by her hairline, above her left eye, was painful. Pain subsided with some ibuprofen. Throughout the day, she felt nauseous. Tonight the area felt "spongy", and pressing on it will create "indentation". Also, she said she felt especially nauseous when I washed her hair and pressed that general area. What do you think is wrong?
