Can Ibugesic Plus Be Taken For A Reoccurring Fever?

hi My girl child has fever from past few days. she is 23 Months and weighs 11 KG Doc prescribed Fevago Suspension but the fever is still re-occuring, can you help in the same. I have Ibugesic plus that i gave her last time she had fever. Can i give her Ibugesic now. please advice..

The most appropriate and relatively safe medicineto decrease the fever is paracitamol (crocin/calpol/metacine).
Ibugesic has paracitamol and ibuprofen,and though it will decrease the fever to a greater extent compare to paracitamol but safety margin is compromised as ibuprofen is harsh on our GIT. (stomach and intestines).
Therefore ibugesic plus is not a good option every time the child has fever.
1 or 2 doses of ibugesic plus can be used in a child if a child has high fever (more than 104 degree).
