Can Ibugesic Plus Syrup Be Given To An Infant Suffering From Viral Fever?

My baby is suffering from fever ( Up to 102 Deg. F.) Doctor diagnosed that the baby is suffering from viral fever. Can Ibugesic plus syrup give to an infant of 1year old. Advised dasage is 4ml each in evary 6 hours. Is it safe. Or any alternate medicine can be given for the fever. Please advise.

first of all never give any medicine to infants and children before consulting your doctor.In this case the child is suffering from a viral fever.ibugesic plus contains ibuprofen and paracetamol .ibuprofen is NSAID which should be avoided in viral infections cause it leads to bleeding under skin and other adverse reactions .plain paracetamol can be given but for the dosage its always better to consult a doctor before
