Deriva -ms gel contains Adapalene, which is topical retinoid. The recommendation is to use it once daily at night because adapalene can cause photosensitivity on sun exposure.
You could use a broad spectrum sunscreen, that which offers both UVB and UVA protection throughout the day, which would protect you from sun induced tanning and dullness.
Glycolic acid is also a skin enhancing agent. It is available as a topical cream which you can use for 2 hours before applying adapalene.
You can also opt for glyolic acid peel sessions from a dermatologist to enhance your skin.
regards
