Can I Use Contact Lens After Eye Infection Is Cured?
Hi, I am suffering from some eye infection. Have visited the doctor and have been using Lotepred T for more than a month. As they have suggested I reduced my drops to 4 times a day to 1 times a day. I am a contact lens user and now I am really feeling difficult to use it till this gets cured. But still I couldnt get a cured feeling and I am worried whether I can use Lens or Not. Please advise
Lotepred is steroid prepqaration. I tcanbe used for allergic condition. Should be used under supervision. Nonsteroid preparation like cromal is available which can be used for longer time. With infection it is advisable not to use contact lense. Use specs till you are fully cured. Consult ophthalmologist for examination and opinion. You can give coplete history signs and symptom sothat proper advise can be given.
