Can I Take Xanax To Cure Side Effects Of Effexor?
My daughter(31) took an Effexor150 mg last night after being off it for about a year. She has a rapid heartbeat and is sweating a d feeling jittery and scared. It was her g.p who prescribed it and she had forgotten that she started out with only 37.5 mg and worked up before. She also was given Xanax but she is afraid to take it. Would Xanax help her feel better from the side effects of the effector?

Hello and thank you for your question. It may help her calm down to take the xanax, but she needs to call her doctor and tell them what happened and get their advice on this situation.
