Can I Take Aspirin During Pregnancy?

hello doctor,right now am at 26 weeks of pregnancy.today i went to see my doctor but she told me its showing only 22 weeks and lets do an ultrasound.after scanning report came 26 weeks and everything alright but when i showed my report of scanning to her she told my fluid is 13.8cm and ask me to take aspirin od 81mg and duphaston tds.as i am a nurse am very much confused whether to take that or not.please am waiting for your valuable opinion

Dear madam I understand your concern.amniotic fluid 13.8cm is good.usually aspirin is given in case of intrauterine growth retardation(IUGR) .may be your doctor suspected that and gave you.but anyways as you are a nurse you can discuss with her and clarify your doubts.
