Can I Take Zinetac Life Long For Acid Reflux And What Are The Side Effects?
Hi my name is Nikhil and i am suffering from acid reflux/heart burning/ chest burning since 3-4 years. I take a medicine Zinetac almost everyday.. Can I continue taking the same medicine life long or are there any side-effects for taking this medicine

Yes you can take Zinetac for a long time without any serious side effects. Zinetac is Ranitidine which is an H2-receptor antagonist drug and forms the main therapy for Acid reflux. In case the you don't feel much relief, you might go for Proton pump inhibitors like Omeprazole, Rabeprazole which are more effective than Ranitidine.
Lastly, you may opt for surgical procedures.
