Can I So The Pregnancy Test Before Due Date?

So I had sex once about 3 or 4 days my period on sept. 17th and then again afterwards while I was ovulating and again it was once and about 4 days after on the 30th of sept I got really light pinkish bleeding and I thought it would be my period but it came and went for 2 days and then just had spotting for the next 2 or 3 days. I had almost every pregnancy symptom you can think of for about the next 2 weeks after that then it all stopped. I took a pregnancy test the first to second week of this month and it came up negative, and now my period was due on the 13th and it always comes on regular basis at mid month might be a day early or a day late but always there, but now its the 20th and still nothing, I was wondering if its too soon or if its good time for another pregnancy test? And what do you think, could I be pregnant?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Although you failed to mention it, but I am assuming you had 'unprotected' sexual intercourse which is why you are worried about pregnancy. Well from the provided details pregnancy is of course possible and should be seriously considered until ruled out by a doctor through a serum test or an ultrasound. For now it would be a good time to take the home pregnancy test, but make sure you do so using an early morning urine sample and not a mid day or night time urine sample, as the morning sample (first one in the morning is the most concentrated sample).

Some women do not return a positive result to a home pregnancy test until 3 months into pregnancy, and so I would not worry too much. Make sure you visit your doctor if the HPT proves inconclusive and get a serum test or an ultrasound conducted.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
