Can I Give Amoxil To A Child Suffering From Bronchitis?

Hello, my daughter is 7months old and weighs just under 20lbs. She was recently diagnosed with Bronchitis and prescribed Bisolvon Paediatric, Amoxil syrup, Predcort, Ventolin inhaler and at the doctor s officer, Nebulizer was used. Are these drugs (esp Amoxil and Predcort) effective so young? Are there any side effects or future dependencies I should be concerned about?

Thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
Amoxil is amoxycillin. This is an antibiotic. And should be given if bronchitis is suspected. And it will cause almuch side effects. An dno chance of dependency with amoxicillin.
I am more worried about Prescott. It is oral steroid and should be given in special circumstances in bronchitis. It is not routinely given in bronchitis. Besides these, it is having more side effects and dependency too.
So better to reconfirm about Prescott with your treating pediatrician. Better not to give in 7 month old child .
