Can I Give Kofarest PD And Synasma Without Consulting A Doctor ?

Hi, My daughter is 16 mnths old. She currently has cough and the had doctor advised us to give her the following medicines: Kofarest-PD and Synasma syrups last time. Can we give her the same now also? Are these medicines good for cough and is the antibiotic syrup mild?

hi,thanks for query.Adult or children the same prescription should not be used again without doctors advise.It is possible that the illness may look same to you but it could be different.In any case self medication of antibiotic is dangerous,it can lead to development of antibiotic resistance in body and leads to its loss of effectiveness.
