Pregnancy and family needs to be planned. Both you and your partner need to sit and discuss when to start a family. Your partner may have other reasons why he doesn't want to parent a child now. I am sure smooth talks and discussion will bring out the difference and solution to this problem.
As far as chances of pregnancy this time, if you are in mid-cycle (menstrual cycle) there are chances that you may become pregnant now. You can increase the chances of pregnancy by increasing the frequency of sexual intercourse during your mid-cycle period.
I hope this helps.
Wish you good health
Regards
