Can I Get HIV If I Contact HIV Positive Semen Outside?

Me: 41yo, 5'9", 176lb and very healthy (HIV-) gay male.

Query: Used a pair of clippers to shave scrotum and nicked myself in several areas which caused temporary bleeding that subsided over time. Four hours later, my scrotum was briefly irritated after coming in contact with semen of my HIV+ partner. The semen in question was exposed to air for at least 5 minutes. Am I at risk for HIV? My Primary Care physician said not to worry given my shaving nicks were superficial and not deep. But I question his response.......if there was bleeding, there must be a direct route into my bloodstream?

Most of the cases in superficial cuts there is negligible chance of hiv infection. But if there was bleeding and seminal flid contact occur then there is definitely chance of hiv infection. However its very rare but not 100% sure that its no chance. So ndtter to ensure yourself go for hiv testing.
