Can I Do A Massage On Someone With Chronic Heart Problems ?

Can I do a massage on someone with Chronic Heart problems ? Client she s had Chemo, has something fitted to re start her heart if it stops and has emeloids, not sure if spelled right. Is taking prescribed anti inflammations for her ankles and is cold.

Get a note from her doctor and explain to her that you are most concerned about possible blood clots. Since her heart is not pumping as it should it is possible there is a clot somewhere you massaging her could release the clot and cause serious damage. I'm talking stroke or death kind of dammage. I would still only go with a light swedish massage just to warm her up and make her feel better.
