Can HIV Cause Weight Loss, Facial Acne, Throat Infection Or Spots?

I performed unprotected oral sex to a man who is hiv positive, its been 7 weeks, I took a HIV-1 INSTI test and showed NEGATIVE, they told me not to worry about it anymore, but still in doubt, I have a few symptoms, such as weight loss, acne on my face, and kind of infection on my thorat, a few white spots, so are there still chances to be infected and the test giving a false negative?

Hello
Oral sex to man who was HIV positive :
Now read this carefully because you are also having few symptoms simulating HIV infection.
Oral sex is a much less efficient mode of transmission of HIV infection than is receptive anal intercourse.
A number of studies have reported that the incidence of transmission of infection by oral sex among couples discordant for HIV is extremely LOW; indeed one study reported NO case among 239 men whose only risk was receptive oral intercourse where 28 % knew that their partner was HIV infected ( your case is equal to these cases).
But therefore, there are probably many more cases that go unreported because of the frequent practice of both oral sex and receptive anal intercourse by the same person.
Therefore the ASSUMPTION that receptive oral sex is completely safe is NOT warranted.
Although in your case the HIV 1 is negative but there is no warranty that you are safe .
You got blood test after 7 weeks , time between initial infection and detectable antibodies is also 2 weeks afterward so in that sense test is negative and encouraging .
But you are also having weight loss, acne, sore throat, few spots .
Please also note down about fever, pharyngitis ( you are having i.e. sore throat ) , headache/retro-orbital pain , lymphadenopathy, nausea/vomiting/diarrhea, lethargy/malaise.
Mucocutaneous ulceration ( having on tongue) , erythematous rashes .
However there is very less chance of getting infection by you but I recommend you please visit HIV infection CLINIC and get their opinion as physical examination as well retest is important in your case.
Hope this will help you.
