Can Evion-LC Cause Stomach Acidity?

Hi, this is Manish, Doctor prescribe me for Evion LC and taking the same from last 4 months, but last 15 days I suffering with stomach acidity, before this doctor prescribe me Evion 400 and with this medicineI had no any stomach related problem like above, Is this Evion LC sided effects? Please let me know, because we now a day we are facing very much acidity problem.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of taking Evion LC instead of plain Evion 400.
LC stand for Levocarnitine and can cause acidity.
This is not an essential medicine hence you can revert back to Evion 400 and see if the acidity gets under control. If this is so stop LC and continue with Evion. If stopping does not stop the causes may be different.
Thence start taking PPI like Omeprazole and antacid.
soft and bland diet, avoid hot, spicy foods and aerated drinks, avoid alcohol and tobacco.
You will be fine.
