Can Cocaine Cause Head Ache , Blocked Nose And Throat Pain?

After taking cocaine the night before, in the morning I now have pain in my throat, mild pain in my head and a blocked nose (right nostril). What is the most effective method to recover and to tell whether it is just the coke or an infection developing?

Cannot say without an exam. Cocaine blocks blood coming into the area in the nose where it is inhaled. Often there is a rebound INCREASE after it wears off with congestion. There can be plain tissue death from the loss of blood flow. With tissue death there will be inflammation, usually some bleeding and also infection.
Treatment depends a great deal on what is going on. If the tissue is gone then there isn't very good treatment. If it is merely a little bit red. Waiting it out works BUT decongestants are a bad idea since their action overlaps that of the cocaine! If there is gunk/purulence, which can be at the nose OR at the back of the throat, then antibiotics are needed.
