Can Citrobacter Koseri In Urine Analysis Cause Meningitis?

I was diagnosed with acute Bacterial Prostatitis. I have had chronic prostatitis for 30 plus Years. this Infection was particularly hard on Me.. fever, really bad headaches in temples. dizzy.etc.. iwas treated in hospital with intravenous Ceftriaxone 2 times.. I am currently taking oral Bactrim. My concern is the culture report from My urinalysis came back Today the culprit is "Citrobacter Koseri (diversus) being that this was the cause of UTI and Prostate Issues is there a concern of meningitis because they were speaking of that in hospital.

Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Urinary tract infection or prostate issues would not affect the meninges unless a septicemia happens.
2. At present the infection is localized and nothing to worry about. Hope you have no headache or neck rigidity.
3. Based on culture and sensitivity report, if appropriate antibiotic is started, the infection will disappear. No need to worry about meningitis.
