Can CLL Patients Donate Eyes After Death ?

my mother aged 70 years has been found suffering from cll . she is being treated in aiims in hemotology and she wants to donate her eyes. is it possible , if yes, then pl. let me know how

Yes. She may donate her cornea. When we talk about eye donation, there is only removal of the outermost transparent layer of eye known as Cornea. It can be donated because (1) It has no blood supply. (2) CLL is not an infection which is contagious by blood.
