Can Bonine Be Taken With Transderm Scop For Motion Sickness?

I am using Transderm Scop 1.5 mg for a 7 day cruise- I have had motion sickness since childhood. I am frightened I will get sick on the boat (the Royal Caribbean Allure, huge ship) hence the patch. If I still feel motion sick with the patch can I take anything with it? Bonine as an example? Thank you.

Hi, thanks for posting your concern in the HCM.
My understanding is Transdermal Scopolamine patch is quite helpful. Your symptoms will also be less because you are about to travel in a large ship.
Secondly, try to have non-spicy bland diet and get a position neat the central part or front of the ship, near the midline.
Wear sunglasses and avoid looking in the direction opposite to ship's motion.
Prefer prone position or reclination of head at 30 degree or standing position.
You can take Bonine or Meclizine, but I think Transdermal patch of Scopolamine is more effective.
Hope you are satisfied with my answer.
