Can B12 Injection Shot In Vein Cause Any Problem?

My doctor prescribes me b12 injections and i always inject them into my upper arm where there s lots of muscle but today i think i accidentally shot it into my vein. Im not sure if I ve had any side effects but is something had going to happen because i hit a vein?

The side effect depends upon the type of the preperation you are takin as there are many brand of vit B12 whcih can be injected by both routes i.e. intra-venous as well as intra muscular.
So it depends upon the brand used by you. If that brand has both the ways of administration this will not produce any side effects.
If the brand is only for the intra muscular injection there can be the chances of producing reaction. But as you are not having any of the symptoms till yet you do not have to worry about it. As if the reaction is to ocuur it starts showing symptoms immidiatly after ijection.
So my dear friend no need to worry.
