Can Azoran Cause Weight Gain?

pl tell me ...i am 61 year old female suffering from ild since 6 years depnding on steriod methylprednisilon 12 mg daily.now my doctor prescribed Azoran100mg daily .taking it since 3 month my weight is increasing very fastly in 3 months is it due to azoran ? what should i do?

No, Azoran does not cause weight gain. There are many causes of weight gain such as increased food consumption without increasing physical activity, high junk food, Cushing’s syndrome and hypothyroidism. There are many more uncommon causes. Weight gain can be due to steroid use for a long time.
Advice
1.     Continue Azoran as suggested
2.     Start workout in gym at least for half an hour for 4 – 5 days in a week regularly. Start with a balanced mix of cardio, weight training and flexibility exercises
3.     Avoid eating high energy foods such as cakes, chocolates, chips etc.
4.     Avoid alcohol and smoking
5.     Increase consumption of high fiber diet such as wheat bread, dry date, vegetables etc
6.     Drink 3 – 4 liters of water daily
7.     Chew the food properly to make it easily digestible
8.     Avoid excess intake tea and coffee after meal
9.     Divide your meals into smaller portions and eat them frequently during the day
10.     Avoid oily & spicy food
11.     Investigation – lipid profile, serum TSH
